Kollegiet Sofiegården

Kollegiet Sofiegården is a student dorm (kollegium) located in Christianshavn (Indre By), Copenhagen. Applications go through Kollegiernes Kontor i København (KKIK). Like other Copenhagen kollegier, residents can legally sublet their room when traveling for exchange semesters, internships, or holidays under the Danish Rent Act (Lejeloven §157–158).

To sublet a room at Kollegiet Sofiegården, the original tenant must get written approval from the dorm administration. The subtenant must be a full-time student, and the rent is capped by Lejeloven — proportional to what is being sublet (a fair share of a suite under § 157, or 1:1 for a full-dwelling temporary sublet under § 158).
