Copenhagen NV (Nordvest, near Nørrebro border) · CIU (Centralindstillingsudvalget — Central Nomination Committee)
Rebslagervej Kollegiet opened in August 2016 as a purpose-built home for international students arriving in Copenhagen for a semester or an academic year. The Housing Foundation — the housing arm of UCPH's Centre for Internationalisation and Parallel Language Use — operates all 85 studio apartments across four floors. Admission is reserved exclusively for international students: Danish citizens may not apply, regardless of their university affiliation. University of Copenhagen students receive first-day access when each seasonal booking round opens; students from CBS, DTU and other partner institutions are invited the following day. Contracts are fixed-term semester lets, so residents know from the outset when their tenancy ends and must re-apply if they wish to stay for a subsequent period. The location in Nordvest — a neighbourhood that has changed rapidly over the past decade — places residents near independent cafés, local markets and the cycling and public-transport links that connect this part of the city to UCPH's campus at Nørre Fælled and to the city centre.
housingfoundation.dk — booking rounds (spring, summer, autumn). UCPH students get priority on day 1 of each round; all other eligible international students invited day 2. Danish citizens not eligible.
Not applicable. Contracts are fixed-term and tied to enrolled student status at a participating institution. Housing Foundation does not offer a sublet pathway; the contract ends at semester's end.
One of Copenhagen's most vibrant neighborhoods. Multicultural, with great nightlife, Assistens Cemetery, and Superkilen park. Popular with students from KU and CBS.
