Nørrebro · Kollegiernes Kontor i København (KKIK)
Rigshospitalets Kollegium occupies the corner of Jagtvej and Tagensvej in the heart of Nørrebro, two blocks from the Assistens Kirkegård cemetery where Hans Christian Andersen and Søren Kierkegaard are buried. With 414 single rooms across 7 floors — each with a private bathroom and shared kitchen for 14 neighbours — it is one of the larger dormitories on Copenhagen's KKIK waiting list, typically with a two-year queue. The dormitory is explicit that social participation is not optional: committee work, food clubs, and communal life are formally required conditions of residency, not mere suggestions. Bathrooms were fully renovated in 2018–19. The building sits roughly equidistant between Nørrebrogade and Tagensvej, with Superkilen park and the dense urban fabric of inner Nørrebro immediately outside. Applications go through KKIK; subletting is allowed for up to 6 months via an internal volunteer committee.

One of Copenhagen's most vibrant neighborhoods. Multicultural, with great nightlife, Assistens Cemetery, and Superkilen park. Popular with students from KU and CBS.
