About Tingbjerg Kollegiet

Set at the edge of Tingbjerg on the border of Utterslev Mose — Copenhagen's largest protected green area at 210 hectares — Tingbjerg Kollegiet has housed students since 1970–72. After extensive renovation completed in 2013–2015, the complex now offers 270 self-contained units in two buildings, including 18 larger two-room apartments. Each single room is a 29 m² studio with its own bathroom and kitchenette; each floor corridor shares one of 18 fully equipped communal kitchens where neighbours cook together and socialise.

On-site amenities go well beyond the basics: a bar, a cinema room, a gym, and smart laundry facilities make Tingbjerg Kollegiet one of the better-equipped student residences outside the inner city. The adjacent local sports club and the nature reserve of Utterslev Mose provide ample outdoor options. The college has a long tradition of welcoming international students, and two bus lines connect directly to the city.
